The Big Brother Naija All Stars show has entered its business end, as evictions have started. After two weeks, the BBNaija All Stars season had its first live evictions, and Princess became the first to be kicked out of the show.

New Eviction Twist in the Big Brother Naija Show
When Ebuka Obi Uchendu launched the BBNaija All Stars season on the 23rd of July 2023, he said there’ll be an eviction, with the introduction of an eviction jury.
Biggie later explained that the eviction jury will be made up of ex-BBNaija housemates, and that they’ll decide who gets evicted from the housemates with the least number of votes
That is, after viewers have voted, the names of the housemates with the least votes go to the jurors. The jurors then decide who goes home.
The first Big Brother Naija All Stars Eviction show
When the live eviction show started, the host, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, introduced three ex-housemates as the jurors of the day. They were:
- Bisola (from See Gobe season)
- Dorathy (from Lockdown Season)
- Mike (from Pepper Dem Season)
After votes for the week were counted, the three housemates with the least votes were:
- Seyi, who had 0.89% of votes cast
- Princess, who had 1.54% of votes cast
- Ike, who had 1.59% of votes cast
In earlier eviction processes, Seyi would have been the housemate evicted for scoring the least number of votes. But with the “Eviction Jury” twists, the jurors vote for who will go home from these housemates with the least number of votes.
So the three ex-BBNaija housemates forming the jury for the week two eviction show were made to send one housemate home, between Seyi and Princess.
Interestingly, they unanimously voted for Princess to be evicted. So Seyi survived eviction despite being the housemate with the least number of votes (after viewers voted).
Final Thoughts
After leaving the show very early during the Double Wahala season, it must be heart-breaking for Princess to leave the All Stars season only after two weeks.
It’ll be even harder to take, given that she did not get the least amount of votes from viewers. Do you think it’s fair for Princess to go as she went?
