BBNaija Mercy Eke in Tears as she bemoans lack of support

Since the BBNaija All Stars show ended, the finalists have been doing their media rounds and granting interviews.

Mercy Eke has had a lot to say, especially about the support (or the lack of it) that she got while in the house. In a recent interview, Mercy Eke was moved to tears as she called out people for not supporting her simply because she was a former winner.

According to her, she only wanted more, and it is not a crime to want more. She added that there was another winner in the BBNaija All Stars house, but people gave this other winner better “energy.”

Our thoughts on BBNaija Mercy Eke’s claimed lack of support

In our opinion, Mercy Eke’s claims that people outside the house gave the other winner in the house better “energy” is surprising.

The other winner that was in the house she referenced is Whitemoney. Remember that Whitemoney was evicted from the house in Week 8 because he did not get enough votes from viewers.

BBNaija Whitemoney

The week Whitemoney was evicted, seven housemates were up for possible eviction. These were:

  • Ilebaye
  • Mercy Eke
  • Ceec
  • Adekunle
  • Alex
  • Whitemoney
  • Neo Energy

Neo Energy, Whitemoney, and Alex had the least votes and were evicted from the house. This means that Mercy Eke had more votes (and therefore more outside support) than the other winner in the house (Whitemoney).

So, it’s surprising that she will cry, claiming that people outside gave Whitemoney more support than they did her.

Final Thoughts

Mercy Eke said she went to the BBNaija All Stars house to prove that those who say she wouldn’t have won the first time if Tacha hadn’t gotten disqualified were wrong.

In our opinion, she proved them right. What do you think?
