Big Brother Naija is here again with the All Stars season. This special season brings back previous housemates, meaning we may get to see a reenactment of some of the best rivalries the show has witnessed.
Some of the rivalries/ battles to watch in this Big Brother Naija All Stars season include:
1. Mercy vs Ike
Who can forget these two? Mercy and Ike were love birds during the Pepper Dem season. Viewers were thinking that they’ll one day walk down the aisle.
After the Pepper Dem BBNaija season, the lovebirds launched their own reality TV show titled “Mercy and Ike.” Multichoice Nigeria described this show as a continuation of their love story.
However, their love quickly turned sour and even very bitter. Clearly referencing Mercy, Ike recently said he nearly turned a prostitute into a housewife. Suffice it to say that Mercy and Ike are now serious enemies.
So, having them together in Big Brother House promises to be exciting.
What do you expect from these two? Will they blow up in each other’s faces? Will they avoid each other till the end of the show?
2. WhiteMoney vs Pere
WhiteMoney vs Pere was the attraction in the Shine Ya Eye Season. We all saw how it played out. It was like a coup by the general (albeit an unsuccessful one). Pere suspected WhiteMoney was using cooking as a strategy and he set out to stop him, leading to a lot of bad blood and at least one confrontation between the two.
It is a fresh Big Brother Season, but Biggie is at it again. WhiteMoney and Pere in the same house? Interesting!
WhiteMoney and Pere settled their differences after the house and became cool. But we suspect that Pere will not want WhiteMoney to get the better of him in the game this time around.
Do you think they’ll continue being cool? Or will the war between them and their fans continue? Watch out.
3. Cross vs Angel
Cross and Angel were Shine Ya Eye housemates. Their closeness started towards the end of the show. Angel was rebounding from her no-show affair with Sammie, and Cross was recovering from his failed attempt at winning Saskay’s love. They kicked off what Angel later described as a weird friendship.
After the house, they attempted to turn the weird friendship into a serious relationship but ended up becoming enemies.
Angel went on to call Cross a “hypocrite” and a “gaslighter,” adding that she was not getting back the energy and love she gave. Cross, on the other hand, said he gave his best to their friendship. Maybe his best was not enough for Angel.
Las las they meet again in a confined space. Would the space push them closer together or tear them even farther apart? Let’s watch out.
4. Adekunle vs Doyin
Adekunle and Doyin were Level Up housemates. They were even in the same level, but that did not stop them from quickly becoming “enemies.”
Adekunle and Allysyn had started a “ship” before Allysyn jumped ship, dumping Adekunle and hooking up with Hermes.
Adekunle seemed to take being dumped pretty well. But he secretly took it out on Doyin, because he felt Allysyn’s decision had been influenced byDoyin (as the two ladies were close friends).
During the Level Up reunion, Ebuka tried to reconcile them. But it didn’t go well. Doyin said that Adekunle is a “trifling human being, a disgrace to manhood and a very sorry excuse of a man.” She added that Adekunle created a wrong impression about her and did not allow her fellow housemates to know her and that Adekunle “owes an apology to his mother for throwing away the training she gave him.”
Now, imagine those two together again in the confined space that is Biggie’s house. What drama should we expect? Gbas Gbos or Avoidance? Let’s watch out!
5. Cee-C vs Alex
Cee-C and Alex were double wahala BBNaija housemates. During their stay in the house, they argued about everything, which led to their fight.
Later on, Alex wrote an apology letter which she read before the housemates. They reconciled beautifully. After the show, they even started honoring each other’s invitations for events.
Now, they’re back in Big Brother’s house. What should we expect from these two? Will the tension in the house switch them back to their quarrelsome, or will it bring them even together and make their new-found friendship stronger?
