The BBNaija9 (No Loose Guard season) had the first eviction during the first-week eviction show. Tami (Damilola and Toyosi) were evicted.
See how TAMI was evicted:
The eviction of TAMI from the Big Brother Season 9 House happened in three processes:
- Viewers Vote
- BBNaija 9 Custodian saves a pair
- BBNaija Housemates vote to evict a pair
Viewers Vote
First, the bottom four were identified from the viewers’ voting process. Viewers were told to vote within the week to save housemate duos from eviction. After voting the Bottom 4 were:
- Chekas – 5.12%
- Radicals – 4.81%
- Streeze – 4.58%
- Tami – 2.21%
BBNaija9 Custodian saves a pair
Remember that the Custodians of the House (Ndi Nne) were given a box after they won the title. They were instructed not to open it until Big Brother asked them to open it. During the eviction show, Big Brother told them to open the box. They opened it, and it contained “Save Only.”
This means they were to save one of the four pairs nominated for eviction. And they saved Radicals.
Thus, only three pairs remained up for eviction:
- Chekas
- Streeze
- Tami
BBNaija9 Housemates vote to evict a pair
Lastly, the housemates were told to nominate the pair that they’d like to see leave the house. They all went to the diary room pair by pair for nomination.
This was how they voted:
Housemate Pairs | Who they voted for eviction |
Wanni x Handi | Tami |
Nelita | Tami |
Zinwe | Tami |
Shatoria | Tami |
Mbadiwe Twins | Tami |
Floruish | Tami |
Double Kay | Chekas |
Aces | Streze |
Beta | Tami |
Ndi Nne | Tami |
Summary of results:
- Tami – 8 votes
- Streeze – 1 vote
- Chekas – 1 vote
When they were done nominating, Big Brother announced the result, eliminating Tami.
And that is how TAMI became the first dynamic duo evicted from the Big Brother Naija Season 9 No Loose Guard Season.
Final Thoughts
Big Brother and the organizers always come up with new twists. In previous seasons, housemates were not evicted in the first week. But in this “No Loose Guard” season, surprisingly, they started eviction in the first week. What do you think about this early eviction?
